I (Sandy Mazour) am currently the 5th & 6th grade SPED teacher and SPED Coordinator, assisting Mary Yilk. In my 18 years at D-T we have implemented inclusion and shown that each child’s needs can be met within a class of their peers. I believe given appropriate strategies and support all children can be successful.
I (Sheri Thompson) am the K-12 Speech-Language Pathologist and have been working at Doniphan-Trumbull School for 18 years. I believe that all children have the potential to learn and be successful in the school setting, but we as teachers, need to find their talents and help guide them along the way.
I (Lori Rainforth) am the K-2nd grade Special Educations teacher and have been working at the Doniphan-Trumbull School for 18 years. I believe that education is an ever-changing lifelong process and that we are all lifelong learners.
I (Adam Pfeifer) am the 3rd & 4th grade SPED teacher and have been working at Doniphan-Trumbull School for 13 years. I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan and have a Master’s in Education Administration from UNK. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and will learn with dedicated teachers.
I (Jeff Keasling) am the Life Skills teacher with the SPED department. I am entering my 4th year at D-T and my 6th year in my teaching career. I received my degree from UNL in 2006. I believe that all children are entitled to an appropriate education that fits their post-secondary needs.
